Azure Support Engineer (Part time)

EvolvingDesk is upcoming in the IT industry, providing innovative cloud solutions that drive business transformation. We are seeking an experienced Azure Support Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will provide technical support and expertise on Microsoft Azure, ensuring smooth operations of cloud infrastructure and services for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, and databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand and address technical challenges in the Azure environment.
- Monitor the performance and availability of Azure services, taking proactive steps to prevent issues.
- Assist with the configuration, deployment, and optimization of Azure resources.
- Support cloud migration projects and assist in designing cloud architectures.
- Document processes, issues, and resolutions in knowledge base articles for internal and external use.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in supporting Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure AD, App Services, Networking, and Storage.
- Experience with PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure CLI for automation and configuration.
- Familiarity with Azure Security features, monitoring tools, and backup solutions.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or Azure Security Engineer.
- Experience with Hybrid cloud environments and Azure Active Directory.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or other containerization technologies.
- Experience working with incident management and ticketing systems.
